Important tasks for farmers
Beneficiaries of the PM Kisan scheme must complete their e-KYC before the 24th installment is released. Those who have not yet completed this process are encouraged to do so promptly. This can be done by visiting the official PM Kisan website or a nearby Common Service Centre (CSC). Alternatively, farmers can complete the e-KYC process using the PM Kisan mobile app through face authentication.
Additionally, farmers whose bank accounts are not linked to their Aadhaar should get them linked immediately to ensure they can receive payments via DBT. This Aadhaar-seeding process can be completed online. Farmers who wish to check their status online can do so from the comfort of their homes using their mobile phones.
To begin, visit the official PM Kisan website and select the ‘Know Your Status’ option. Enter your registration number and provide the requested details. You can then verify your eKYC status, land seeding, the bank account linked to your Aadhaar, and your payment status. If you notice any discrepancies, you can get them resolved by visiting the relevant department or a CSC (Common Service Centre).
