PM Kisan 24th Installment: Farmers nationwide are eagerly waiting for the 24th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. The 23rd installment was distributed on June 20. Through the PM Kisan scheme, qualifying farmer families get Rs 6,000 every year. This money goes straight into their bank accounts as three separate payments of Rs 2,000 each. Generally, a new installment comes out every four months.

When will the 24th installment of PM Kisan arrive?

The 24th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is expected to come this month, in October. Nilesh Chaurasia, Deputy Director of Agriculture, recently suggested that the next installment might be released in October. Since Diwali falls on November 8th, there’s a possibility the government could release the 24th installment beforehand as a Diwali surprise for farmers.

That said, the government hasn’t confirmed an exact date yet. So farmers should be cautious about claims spreading on social media, as officials warn these could be misleading.

Rs 6,000 is provided annually under the PM Kisan Yojana

Qualified farmers participating in the PM Kisan Yojana receive Rs 6,000 in financial support each year. The payment is split into three parts of Rs 2,000 each. Money is sent directly to the farmer’s bank account.

Farmers have the option to review their registration details and payment history on the scheme’s official website. This helps them understand why payments might be delayed or if there are any concerns with their account.

 

How to verify your PM Kisan payment status?

You can easily check your installment status online from anywhere. Just follow these simple steps.

Start by visiting https://pmkisan.gov.in/ .

Select the Know Your Status feature on the homepage.

Type in your PM Kisan registration number.

Enter the captcha that appears on your screen.

Select Get OTP and finish verification using the OTP sent to you.

Once complete, your registration and payment details will show up on the screen.

For what reasons can the installment get stuck?

If you haven’t met the eligibility criteria for the PM Kisan Yojana, your 24th installment may be delayed. First, check your payment status. Then, ensure you haven’t completed any necessary procedures. Farmers should especially check the following:

Whether the information entered in the registration is correct or not.

Whether e-KYC is completed or not.

Whether the land records have been verified or not.

Whether Aadhar card is linked to the bank account or not.
