Engine and Performance
Tata Safari 2025 is likely to continue with its trusted 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering a strong power output close to 170 PS and torque around 350 Nm. This engine is designed for smoother highway driving and better city performance. It will come paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. There are also talks that Tata might introduce a mild hybrid petrol engine to attract more urban buyers, but the diesel variant will remain the core choice for Indian consumers.
Mileage and Efficiency
Mileage has always been a concern for large SUVs, but Tata Motors plans to address this in the new Safari 2025. The diesel variant is expected to return a mileage of around 14-16 kmpl on highways and 11-13 kmpl in city conditions. If the petrol mild hybrid version launches, the mileage could go slightly higher, aiming to balance power and fuel efficiency. Tata wants to offer a vehicle that’s powerful yet practical for everyday running.
Other Specifications and Features
The new Tata Safari 2025 will likely come with advanced safety tech, including multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist and more. The infotainment system could feature a large touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Tata Safari 2025 will sport refreshed exterior styling with a bold front grille, new LED DRLs, sharper headlamps and redesigned alloy wheels. The rear may also see new LED tail lamps and a sportier bumper design. The interior is expected to carry a modern dashboard layout with premium materials and a new colour theme, keeping it fresh and appealing to younger buyers.

The price of Tata Safari 2025 is likely to start from around Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom) and could go up to Rs 25 lakh for the higher variants. At launch, Tata might offer limited-time discounts or exchange bonuses to attract new buyers. Buyers can expect finance schemes, extended warranty offers and special festive season benefits closer to the launch.

Additional features may include wireless charging, premium sound system, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, rain-sensing wipers and electrically adjustable driver seat. Tata aims to make the Safari 2025 more feature-loaded to stay ahead in the competitive SUV segment.
