You will receive a token number via email before you start the application process, which may be necessary if you wish to complete the application later.

How to change your name, address, and mobile number?

To change your name, select the appropriate name option and enter the correct details. You may be asked for required documents based on the change. For an address change, make sure to enter your complete and accurate new address in your application and provide proof if necessary.

To update your mobile number, simply enter the new number in the Contact Information section. Be careful while entering this number, as it is the only way to access your application information.

You can change your PAN address at no cost

Some individuals also have the option to update their PAN details using Aadhaar for free. This service is available through the Income Tax Department’s e-filing system. However, not all changes are included in this facility, so please verify your eligibility on the official portal before applying.

There’s no need to obtain a new PAN number simply to update the information. Upon successful correction, a new card with the updated information can be issued using the same PAN number.
