The festive season has begun. Durga Puja was celebrated a few days ago, and Diwali is just around the corner. If you use milk, ghee, and butter in your home, you’ll now have to pay more to buy them than before, as the prices of milk, ghee, and butter have been increased. This will directly impact the pockets of ordinary people.

In Tamil Nadu, the state-run dairy company Aavin has chosen to raise the prices of multiple dairy items. Additionally, sweet prices have gone up as well. Notably, this price hike happens right before Diwali. During Diwali, families cook many different dishes, and sweet demand shoots up dramatically. As a result, the rise in dairy costs might strain household finances during this festive season.
