New Tata Tigor Facelift: Tata Motors’ compact sedan, the Tigor, has been in the market for quite some time, and the company is now preparing it for a major makeover. It is set to receive a facelift that goes beyond mere cosmetic tweaks; plans are underway to make the new Tata Tigor Facelift’s front and rear designs, as well as its cabin, more modern and premium. Let’s take a look at the details.
Front Look
The front profile is where the most significant changes are expected. Tata Motors is set to revamp the headlamps, grille, and bumper. The new headlamps could be slimmer and more angular than before, giving the sedan a much sharper front-end appearance.
A gloss-black plastic panel is expected between the headlamps. The lower bumper might feature an A-shaped black surface, housing a rectangular grille in the centre and LED fog lamps at the edges. This setup could give the Tigor a more assertive look than the outgoing model.

Rear Design
Tata Motors is also planning changes to the Tigor’s rear. Along with new tail lamps, a red plastic panel might be added between the lights, creating a visual effect similar to a light bar.
The rear bumper is also expected to receive a new design. In other words, the changes to the rear profile—much like the front—will be substantial rather than minor. Post-facelift, the Tigor might give the impression that the company has successfully applied its new styling language to the existing sedan.
Tigor. ev Front Design
The electric version, Tigor.ev, is also expected to receive exterior updates similar to the standard Tigor Facelift. However, the electric model’s front end might feature a cleaner look. It is likely to sport a largely body-colored fascia, giving it a distinct visual identity compared to the petrol Tigor.
The Tigor.ev is also expected to come with smaller 14-inch wheels. Given the electric version’s design philosophy, a cleaner and simpler front fascia would likely complement its EV character better.

Interior
Notably, after the exterior, the most significant changes are expected in the cabin. Both the new Tigor and Tigor.ev are expected to feature a redesigned dashboard. Its layout is likely to appear cleaner and more upmarket than before.
A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system could be mounted on the dashboard, accompanied by a semi-digital instrument cluster. Compared to the current Tigor, this update could give the cabin a significantly more modern feel.
Engine and Battery
Interestingly, despite the extensive changes to the design and interior, no major alterations are expected in the mechanical setup. It will retain the existing 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which delivers about 84 hp and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with both 5-speed manual and automated manual transmission options.
The Tigor.ev is also expected to carry over its current electric powertrain. It features a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 74 hp and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 26 kWh LFP battery pack. Based on current specifications, it offers a claimed range of around 315 km.
