New Maruti Baleno Facelift: Maruti Suzuki has updated its premium hatchback, the Baleno, with a fresh look. It starts at ₹6.1 lakh, while prices for the higher variants are yet to be announced. The company has focused not just on aesthetics but has also introduced significant changes in safety and technology. The new Baleno facelift features L2 ADAS, new colour options, an updated design, an improved interior, and a new 1.2L Z-Series engine.
New Maruti Baleno Facelift Design
Maruti Suzuki has made several exterior changes. Rather than redesigning the entire vehicle, the updates distinguish the facelift model from its predecessor. The new Baleno features a larger, more prominent front grille, a newly sculpted bumper, and a repositioned Suzuki logo.
Additionally, the NexTRE LED headlight design and revised LED fog lights enhance the car’s front profile. 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome highlights further elevate its premium appeal.

Baleno Facelift Interior
Inside, the new Baleno comes equipped with a Clarion-tuned premium audio system and a SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment screen. It also includes a Qi wireless charging pad with built-in cooling functionality. Semi-leatherette seats and ventilated front seats are designed to provide greater comfort during long drives.
The cabin features a new Black & Blue interior theme contrasted with silver highlights. It also offers storage space within the front centre armrest. Other features include LED headlights and tail lights, automatic climate control, a Head-Up Display (HUD), rear AC vents, an auto-dimming IRVM, keyless entry, and push-button start.
L2 ADAS
The most significant update to the new Baleno facelift is its L2 ADAS system. The company has equipped this hatchback with a camera and millimetre-wave radar-based ADAS setup. The ADAS suite includes eight features, including adaptive cruise control, advanced emergency braking, lane keep assist, and high-beam assist. For safety, the car comes equipped with standard 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, TCS, ESC, a reinforced chassis, hill hold assist, and TPMS.

New 1.2L Z-Series Engine
The engine in the new Baleno has also been updated. It features the new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine, previously seen in the Swift and the Dzire. This is a 3-cylinder engine, whereas the older 1.2-litre K-Series engine had 4 cylinders. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT.
Price and Bookings
The starting price of the new Maruti Baleno Facelift is Rs 6.1 lakh. This price reflects the initial launch and festive offer, while prices for higher trims will be revealed later. The company has opened bookings, and deliveries are expected to commence soon.
