New-Gen Bajaj Pulsar 150: The Bajaj Pulsar 150 needs no introduction in the Indian motorcycle market. The company has now introduced this bike with a completely fresh appeal. Compared to the older model, the new-gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 features significant upgrades across the board—from its design and engine to its frame and technology. Notably, this is the first time features like ride modes and a TFT display have been introduced in the 150cc segment. The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with a new engine, a diamond-type frame, and impressive features. Prices start at ₹1.15 lakh, with the top-end TD variant going up to ₹1.23 lakh. Here are the details.
Bajaj Pulsar 150: Price and Variants
Bajaj has launched the new Pulsar 150 in SD and TD variants. The SD model is priced at ₹1,15,233. Meanwhile, the TD Single Seat variant is priced at ₹1,22,184, and the TD Split Seat variant at ₹1,23,187. If you have a slightly higher budget and desire more features, the TD variant is the better choice; it offers a superior display, disc brakes on both ends, and various modern features.
New Engine
The new Pulsar 150 is equipped with an all-new 149.5cc engine. This engine generates 14 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.1 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj claims that the new bike’s power-to-weight ratio has improved from 93 in the previous generation to 100.

Diamond-Type Frame
One of the most significant changes in the new Pulsar 150 is its frame. The company has replaced the old double-cradle frame with a new diamond-type frame—similar to the one found on the new Pulsar 125. In this new setup, the engine is not merely attached to the frame; it also acts as a structural element that enhances the bike’s rigidity. According to Bajaj, this has improved the bike’s stability and ride quality. This change can also help with handling at high speeds.
Three Ride Modes
The new Pulsar 150 comes with three ride modes: Road, Rain, and Sport. According to the company, this feature is being introduced for the first time in the 150cc segment.
Road Mode is ideal for daily commuting, while Rain Mode is designed to provide better control on wet or slippery roads; Sport Mode, meanwhile, complements the bike’s sporty character.
TFT Display and Google Maps
In terms of features, the TD variant stands out. It features a 5-inch TFT display that includes Google Maps navigation. It also comes with LED indicators, a hazard light switch, idle start-stop technology, and a USB Type-C port.

The SD variant gets a colour LCD console. Both variants share features like an LED headlamp, monoshock rear suspension, and a ‘crawl function.’ Essentially, with the new Pulsar 150, the company has attempted to blend its established reliability with modern requirements.
Specifications
The new Pulsar 150 is fitted with 80/100-17 front and 100/90-17 rear tyres. It gets a 260 mm disc brake at the front. The SD variant features a 130 mm rear drum brake, whereas the TD variant comes with a 230 mm rear disc brake. Both variants are equipped with single-channel ABS.
Suspension duties are handled by 33 mm diameter telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The front suspension offers 125 mm of travel, while the rear suspension offers 110 mm of travel.
