New-Gen Bajaj Pulsar 125: You are likely aware that the Bajaj Pulsar has long held a distinct identity in the Indian market. Now, the company is preparing to introduce major updates with the new-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. These models have now been officially teased for the first time.

Notably, these new bikes will not merely feature minor tweaks; significant changes are expected in their design, chassis, engine, and features. Bajaj’s new-generation Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 are set to launch in India, promising a fresh design, an updated platform, modern features, and an improved engine. Let’s take a closer look at the details.

Launch

Bajaj Auto has teased the new Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 ahead of their launch. Both models are scheduled to launch on August 28, 2026. These new bikes are part of the company’s strategy to expand its Pulsar lineup. Following the recent arrival of the Pulsar N160 SS, the company is now preparing to introduce new-generation versions of its older, popular models.

TFT Display

The most significant change in the new Pulsar 125 is visible in its instrument cluster. The bike was recently spotted without camouflage, revealing a colour TFT display on the top-end variant. This is a major modernisation over the current model and gives the bike a premium feel.

The display features a central digital tachometer, while speed and fuel level information are shown in separate sections. A ‘Road’ ride mode was also visible, suggesting that the new Pulsar might offer multiple riding modes. Additionally, features such as Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation are expected.

Engine

Regarding the engine, the new Pulsar 125 is likely to retain an engine similar to the current 124.4cc unit. However, the engine casing has been altered, and the exhaust header routing appears to be new. Additionally, the exhaust system appears larger than before.

The new motorcycle is expected to offer a slight increase in power and torque over the current engine, although the exact figures will only be revealed at launch. Bajaj is also refining the engine for its new Pulsar models, so the new bike is likely to feature reduced vibrations and lower engine noise.

Design

For the new Pulsar 125, the company has attempted to present the classic Pulsar design with a fresh twist rather than abandoning it entirely. While the bike retains elements of the traditional Pulsar design, the body profile appears sharper than before.

The new bike will also come equipped with features such as LED lighting, hazard lamps, split seats, and split grab rails. These additions are likely to give the bike a more modern and sporty look. In essence, Bajaj has aimed to create a design that appeals to fans of the original Pulsar while also attracting the new generation of riders.
