
Navratri Special Trains 2026: West Central Railway has announced a special facility for passengers on the occasion of Navratri. The railway has introduced a 5-minute stoppage at Maihar station for 15 special express trains catering to pilgrims visiting the shrine. This arrangement will start on October 10, 2026, and will remain in effect throughout the Navratri festival. Devotees from across the country travel to the Maihar temple during this festival; this initiative has been launched in view of this significant influx of pilgrims.
Indian Railways has shared this information via its social media platforms. To ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers, the railway decided to provide a 5-minute halt for these 15 special trains at Maihar station. This decision ensures that pilgrims travelling from afar will not face any inconvenience and brings smiles to their faces.

Trains to halt for 5 minutes
Indian Railways has provided a 5-minute halt at Maihar station for the convenience of pilgrims. This ensures that the elderly, children, and others will not face any difficulties in reaching the temple. Additionally, pilgrims arriving from distant parts of the country will be able to reach the temple comfortably without the need to repeatedly change taxis.
