CJP Protest Update: Security measures have been strengthened throughout Delhi’s capital region due to ongoing demonstrations by the Cockroach Janata Party. According to the DMRC, 45 Delhi Metro station entrances were shut yesterday and will stay closed until 6 pm today. Amid the CJP’s protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, stone-pelting occurred near the PTI building in New Delhi. According to initial reports, around 50 protesters had gathered there. It is alleged that the protesters threw stones at the police, injuring two policemen.

Stone Pelting to Police

According to reports, the police have detained all 50 protesters. This incident reportedly occurred about half an hour ago. However, a detailed official police statement regarding the incident has not yet been released.

Concerning the CJP’s request for protest authorization, Delhi Police released a statement the previous day explaining: “The CJP submitted their application on October 7th, but the protest is planned for October 10th. This indicates the submission deadline was missed. Additionally, the police referenced alleged rule breaches during earlier demonstrations as justification for denying permission. Section 163 of the BNSS has been implemented in the New Delhi region. Police have issued a clear notice that anyone breaking these regulations will face legal consequences.”

Members of the All India Students Association (AISA) and various Left-wing organizations are staging a demonstration outside the BJP office in Delhi. Meanwhile, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has organized a protest gathering at Jantar Mantar in Delhi today, Saturday (October 10), centered on concerns involving Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Make Big Comment

Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma characterized the demonstrations organized by the Cockroach Janata Party and opposition groups in Delhi as theatrical, stating that the opposition feels defeated, lacks alternatives, and has lost public confidence, which is why they resort to such displays. He emphasized this spectacle will have no real impact, noting that citizens support Modi ji, the BJP, and progress. He pointed out that if the public had backed Congress, they would have won elections, but following their defeat, Congress attempts to pressure the government. The Assam Chief Minister had traveled to Haridwar to conduct prayers at Shri Narayan Shila Temple during Pitru Visarjan or Amavasya and was speaking with journalists at the time.
