MSME Loan: The MSME sector is considered the backbone of the Indian economy. Obtaining loans without guarantees or collateral has become quite accessible for MSMEs. Under various schemes launched by the government and the RBI, micro, small, and medium enterprises can easily secure loans ranging from lakhs to crores of rupees without pledging their assets—whether the goal is to start a new business or expand an existing one.

These loans do not require collateral. MSME loans are available through numerous schemes; however, securing a loan successfully requires accurate information, meeting eligibility criteria, and having all necessary documents in order.

How can you get a loan?
Obtaining collateral-free MSME loans has become easier than ever. According to reports, under the ‘Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises’ scheme, MSMEs can secure loans of up to ₹10 lakh without providing any collateral. Additionally, under the PM Mudra scheme, MSMEs, individuals, and professionals can avail themselves of collateral-free loans of up to ₹10 lakh.

Furthermore, the ‘Stand-Up India’ scheme mandates that every bank branch facilitate loans for at least one woman and one person from a tribal community to launch promising projects. Through the ‘Loans in 59 Minutes’ portal, applicants can apply for loans of up to ₹5 crore without the need for collateral.
