Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the smartphone’s design via a Flipkart microsite and confirmed several key hardware features. Details regarding pricing and camera specifications are expected to surface before the official launch. Naturally, following its launch in India, the Motorola Edge 70 Max will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

The Flipkart microsite reveals that the Motorola Edge 70 Max will launch in India next week, on July 15, at 12:00 PM. Following the launch, the handset will be available for purchase on Flipkart. Images on the microsite showcase the phone with a flat display, slim bezels, and a square rear camera module. Additionally, the handset is depicted in light blue and green.
Motorola Edge 70 Max Features
The listing confirms that the Motorola Edge 70 Max will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. It is claimed that this chipset will deliver a 46% improvement in AI-related NPU performance. Furthermore, the smartphone will support up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer on-device AI processing capabilities.
The microsite also reveals that the Motorola Edge 70 Max will feature the ArcticMesh cooling system. Regarding the display, the device is confirmed to sport a Quad-HD+ LTPO panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. To power the device, it may feature a robust 7,100mAh battery supporting 90W TurboPower wired charging. Motorola has also confirmed support for magnetic wireless charging; the company claims it is the first device in its category to offer this feature. The Edge 70 Max will include built-in magnets—similar to Apple’s MagSafe system—that allow compatible magnetic chargers and accessories to attach easily to the device.
