Mahindra Thar Roxx
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is the company’s off-road SUV. An updated version of this model has recently been spotted undergoing testing. According to available information, the new Thar Roxx may incorporate ‘DaVinci’ dampers—a suspension technology that Mahindra has previously used in the XUV700 and the three-door Thar.
The SUV was also seen sporting a new alloy wheel design during testing. It remains unclear, however, whether the company will implement further changes to the exterior, interior, or other features. A launch date for the updated Mahindra Thar Roxx has not yet been announced.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift
While the Mahindra Scorpio-N has received minor feature updates in the past, the company is now working on a significant facelift. Images captured during testing suggest that the new Scorpio-N may feature several changes within the cabin.
It is expected to include a larger, portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system—replacing the current screen—along with a fully digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the dashboard controls may receive a new design. The vehicle is also anticipated to feature a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
Regarding the exterior, the new Scorpio-N is likely to showcase a redesigned front grille, updated lighting elements, and new bumpers. The company might also include DaVinci dampers, though their use has not been confirmed. Furthermore, significant changes to the engine are currently considered unlikely.
Mahindra Vision S-Based SUV
A production SUV based on the Mahindra Vision S concept is among the company’s upcoming models. It is expected that the production version will be a sub-four-metre SUV. There is also speculation that the company might use the ‘Scorpio’ brand name for this vehicle, although no name has yet been confirmed.
It is likely to feature a spacious cabin and a rugged, SUV-like appearance. Additionally, it is expected to come with a rear suspension setup designed to enhance comfort and vehicle control on poor road surfaces. The SUV is anticipated to offer various powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, electric, and flex-fuel engines. It is currently slated for launch in 2027.
Mahindra Vision T Electric SUV
One of the most intriguing upcoming vehicles from Mahindra is an electric SUV based on the Vision T concept. It is envisioned as an electric off-roader that could carry forward the rugged identity of the Thar, integrated with electric technology.
Images captured during testing reveal a five-door body, a boxy design, prominent wheel arches, and several design elements reminiscent of the original concept. This suggests that the company intends to retain a tough, rugged aesthetic for this SUV. As the testing phase is still in its early stages, the launch of this model may occur later than that of updated models like the Thar Roxx and Scorpio-N.
