Bajaj Pulsar N250SS Launched at ₹1.59 Lakh — Check Features & Specs

Bajaj Pulsar N250SS: Bajaj has launched a new premium model, the Bajaj Pulsar N250SS, as part of its Pulsar series. It is priced at ₹1,59,406 (ex-showroom). Positioned above the existing Pulsar N250, this bike features upgrades across the board—from the engine and gearbox to the display and riding features. It comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT screen, Google Maps navigation, a quickshifter, and an electronic throttle body.

Price and Launch Details

The Bajaj Pulsar N250SS has been launched in India with an ex-showroom price of ₹1.59 lakh. It serves as a more feature-rich variant of the Pulsar N250, priced approximately ₹9,000 higher than the previous top-spec variant of the standard N250. This launch is part of the company’s updated bike lineup, introduced to mark the 25th anniversary of the Bajaj Pulsar brand.

5-Inch TFT Display and Google Maps Navigation

The most significant update in the new Bajaj Pulsar N250SS is its 5-inch TFT instrument console, which replaces the LCD display found on the standard Pulsar N250. A key highlight of this display is Google Maps mirroring, allowing riders to view navigation details directly on the screen. Additionally, Bajaj has included a USB Type-C charging port, making it convenient to charge a smartphone while on the go.

Four-Valve Engine

The Bajaj Pulsar N250SS is powered by a four-valve engine that delivers increased power and torque. It now produces 25 PS of power and 22 Nm of peak torque, compared to the 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm generated by the engine in the standard Pulsar N250. 6-Speed Gearbox and Quickshifter

While the standard Pulsar N250 comes with a five-speed gearbox, the N250SS is equipped with a six-speed gearbox. The additional gear can prove beneficial when riding the bike on highways. Furthermore, the bike includes a quickshifter—a feature that allows the rider to shift gears without using the clutch.

ETB Technology and Ride Modes

The Bajaj Pulsar N250SS features Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) technology, a system that electronically controls throttle inputs. Additionally, the bike offers various ride modes that work in conjunction with the existing ABS modes. It also comes with adjustable levers, a dedicated hazard light switch, and a ‘Panic Brake Alert’ feature.

Colour Options

The Bajaj Pulsar N250SS is available in four colour options: Atlantic Blue, Brooklyn Black, Fiery Red Orange, and Pearl Metallic White. In terms of design, the bike retains the signature identity of the Pulsar N250.
