Under the revised arrangement, individuals applying for pensions and allowances through the Madhubabu Pension Scheme will receive their benefits from the month immediately following the month of application. This provision is intended to make the pension distribution process more systematic and ensure that beneficiaries do not have to wait for an extended period to receive their allowances.

Where to Apply?

Eligible individuals can apply for pensions and other allowances by visiting their respective Block Development Officer (BDO) offices. Alternatively, applications can be submitted through the official government portal: https://upmp.odisha.gov.in.

The scheme also provides for enhanced pension benefits for eligible beneficiaries after they attain the age of 80. Importantly, beneficiaries will not need to submit a fresh application to receive the increased allowance upon reaching the prescribed age.
