How to Transfer LPG Gas to Another City
Gas agencies state that if you are transferring the connection to a different address within the same city, you only need to provide proof of address and complete the KYC process. Gas delivery to your new address will then commence. However, moving to a different city requires following a specific procedure. To begin, you should reach out to your gas agency and return both your gas cylinder and regulator. Along with these, you must submit your gas subscription voucher, consumer card, and other necessary documents.
After surrendering these items, the gas agency will issue a termination voucher. You will then receive a refund of the security deposit paid to the old agency, in accordance with the rules. You can then contact a gas agency in your new city to set up the connection.
