Attention Pensioners: If you are a pensioner, this news could be very important for you. All elderly individuals receiving a pension must submit their ‘Life Certificate’. There is no need to visit a bank or a government office; you can submit your ‘Digital Life Certificate’ from the comfort of your home using your smartphone. The Northern Railway and the Central Government are currently conducting the ‘Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0’.

Under this campaign, pensioners should submit their life certificates between November 1 and November 30, 2026. The primary objective is to make the submission process convenient for pensioners.

What is the ‘Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0’?
A ‘Jeevan Pramaan Patra’ (Life Certificate) is a document that serves as proof that a pensioner is still alive. Previously, one had to visit a bank or a government office to submit this certificate. Now, thanks to technology, the process can be done from home using a mobile phone.
