What is the purpose of Pradhan Mantri Free Dish TV Yojana
The Government of India has started this scheme for the entertainment of the poor and needy people. Not only this, this scheme has been started to improve the condition of Doordarshan and All India Radio. The purpose of starting this scheme is to provide DTH facility to the citizens of remote and border areas, as well as to provide current information to all the citizens of the country.
Under this scheme, any candidate who applies will be given a free dish TV connection. Under this scheme, free dish TV connection will be given to eight lakh houses in India. The candidate will not need to spend any money even for the set-off box. Indian citizens can watch their favorite channel for free. Under this scheme, 36 channels will be shown for free.
