With a BaaS model, the scooter’s ex-showroom price starts at just ₹44,990. In terms of performance, it features a 2.2 kWh removable battery pack, which can be charged anywhere like a phone.
Once fully charged, it offers a remarkable range of up to 92 kilometers. Its top speed is 70 km/h, and it offers driving modes like Eco and Ride. Customers pay approximately ₹1.25 per kilometer for the battery charge for the Vida VX2 Go. It’s also not far behind in terms of features, boasting a 4.3-inch LCD display, Bluetooth connectivity, and a large 33.2-liter boot space.
TVS Orbiter V1
TVS Motor Company recently surprised everyone by launching its high-tech electric scooter, the TVS Orbiter V1, with a BaaS scheme. Its ex-showroom price starts at just ₹49,999. The most important feature of this TVS plan is that after purchasing the scooter, customers need to take a monthly subscription of ₹862 for the battery. You can ride as much as you want under this plan, as TVS has not imposed any kilometer restrictions.
TVS is also offering a 5-year or 70,000-kilometer battery warranty with this plan. The Orbiter V1 is powered by a 1.8 kWh battery that offers a range of 86 kilometers. It offers premium features like a color LCD display, turn-by-turn navigation, and cruise control, which are typically found on more expensive scooters.
