What is the Story? (Warning: You Won’t Stop Laughing!)
The story revolves around three close friends—Sidhu, Punyalan, and a third companion—who reside in a boys’ hostel. Their lives essentially consist of just two things: mischief and college politics. The twist arrives when Sidhu is entrusted with the responsibility of taking his late grandmother’s ashes to Kashi.
To avoid becoming the butt of jokes in the hostel, Sidhu secretly transfers the ashes into a powder container. However, the real “chaos” ensues when Punyalan (Sagar Surya) mistakes the contents for an intoxicating powder and snorts it!
What follows is the film’s absolute highlight. It is as if the spirit of Sidhu’s stern grandmother has taken possession of Punyalan. He begins scolding the boys like a strict, old-fashioned matriarch and attempts to enforce traditional “values” within the hostel.
