UPSC Recruitment 2025 : A great opportunity has come up for the youth looking for a government job. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notification for direct recruitment to various departments and posts. This recruitment drive has been started to fill a total of 462 vacant posts. Interested candidates can apply through the official website upsc.gov.in.

Recruitment Information

In this notification issued by UPSC, appointments will be made in many different departments. The posts include Assistant Director, Deputy Superintendent Horticulturist, Deputy Architect, Company Prosecutor, Medical Physicist, Junior Mining Geologist, Deputy Director and many other posts. Educational qualification, age limit and selection process have been prescribed separately for all these posts.

The process of online application has started from 14 June 2025 and candidates can apply till 3 July 2025.

Qualification and Educational Requirements

Candidates applying for these posts must have graduation, post graduation, MBBS or other related degrees, which are prescribed according to the post. Different qualifications are required for each post, so it is important to read the detailed notification carefully before applying.

The age limit is also different for different posts, but there is a provision of relaxation for some categories. SC / ST category candidates can get a maximum relaxation of 5 years and OBC category candidates can get 3 years relaxation.

Application Fee

General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹ 25. But women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Divyang (PwBD) candidates will not have to pay any kind of fee. The fee can be paid through online mode.

Selection Process

The selection process in this recruitment being conducted by UPSC will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, a written test will be taken, in which 75% marks will be given weightage. After this, an interview will be taken, which will have a weightage of 25%.

Candidates who will be successful in the written test will be called for interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in both the stages.
