SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 : Apply Online Resiliently at SBI.co.in by 30th June-The State Bank of India has reopened the application for recruitment of Circle Based Officer (CBO) for the financial year 2025. The application window is kept open so that aspiring applicants who were unable to apply up to the earlier set deadline can apply. Any application will be accepted only up to June 30, 2025, through the official SBI site-sbi.co.in.
On the Application Window and Important Dates
Reopened Application Dates: June 21 to June 30, 2025.
Original Deadline Closed: May 29, 2025.
Last Date to Apply: June 30, 2025.
Interested candidates are advised to register and pay the fee at their convenience in order to avoid panic at the last moment.
Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria
Total Vacancies: 2964, which comprises 2600 regular and 364 backlog posts.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Working Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in an officer cadre with scheduled commercial Banks or in Regional Rural Banks (RRB).
Age Limitations: Age must be between 21 and 30 years as on April 30, 2025 (age relaxation applicable as per reservation category).
TIME FOR SPECIAL NOTICE FOR NORTH-EAST CIRCLE
Candidates from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland are now eligible to apply under north-east circle provided they have passed English as a subject in either 10th or 12th-grade because English has been recognized as the local language for this recruitment.
Application Fee
Applicants from General, OBC, and EWS categories: ₹750.
No application fee is applicable for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
Selection Procedure
Selection of SBI CBO 2025 consists of three phases:
1.Online Written Examination:
Objective paper consisting of 120 questions, divided equally among the following topics: English, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness, Computer Aptitude.
Descriptive Typing Paper of 30 minutes will test writing skills in English Language.
There shall be no negative marking for this objective type paper.
2.Screening & Interview
3.Local Language Proficiency Test (where applicable)
The final selection is done on the basis of a 75:25 ratio of marks obtained in the online test and interview.
Salary and Advantage
The selected candidates will be appointed in Junior Management Grade Scale-I with a starting basic salary of ₹ 48,480/- with two advance increments. Thereafter will accrue DA, HRA medical facilities, PF, pension, and other allowances.

7. Submit and save/download the application.
What Next?
The online examination, tentatively scheduled for July 2025, will likely be conducted. Thereafter, the admit cards are expected to be issued by the end of June or by early July. Candidates will then be called for the interview and final selection.
