Sarkari Job 2025: If you’re dreaming of a career in the financial sector, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has a great opportunity for you. For these positions, candidates must have a graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university or institute in India. For certain positions, a postgraduate diploma or specialised qualification is also required. If you have studied subjects like Finance, Economics, Management, Information Technology (IT), or Law, this could prove to be a great opportunity for you.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The maximum age limit for candidates applying is 30 years. However, SC/ST candidates will be given a 5-year relaxation, OBC candidates a 3-year relaxation, and candidates with disabilities will be given age relaxation as per the rules.

Application Fee

SEBI has determined the application fee by category.

Fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates: ₹1000/-

Fee for SC, ST, and PWD candidates: ₹100/-

The application fee can be paid only through online mode.

Selection Process

Selection for Assistant Manager positions at SEBI will be conducted in several stages—

  • Online Prelims Exam
  • Main Exam
  • Interview

Final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Main Exam and Interview.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates at SEBI will receive a basic salary of ₹35,400. With the addition of DA, HRA, and other allowances, the total salary can reach up to ₹1 lakh per month. Employees will also receive benefits such as a pension, medical, a loan, and LTC.
