The RRC North Eastern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 has been officially announced for 49 vacancies under Group C and Group D posts. Eligibility Criteria
For Group D (GP-1800): Candidates must have passed 10th or ITI or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
For Group C (GP-1900/2000): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or hold a Matriculation with ITI in a relevant trade or completed an Apprenticeship under NCVT/SCVT.
For higher posts (GP-2400/2800): A university degree or its equivalent is required.
Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years of age and born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008. No age relaxation applies for this recruitment.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes are required to pay ₹250. A refund of ₹250 will be made to those who appear for the trial.
Other candidates must pay ₹500, with ₹400 refundable after the trial. The payment must be made online, and applicants should take a printout of the submitted form after payment confirmation.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a trial performance and an evaluation of sports and educational achievements. Candidates will be shortlisted according to their performance level in recognized sports disciplines, followed by document verification.
