Rajasthan REET Mains 2025 Recruitment Announced for 7500 Teacher Posts

Rajasthan REET Mains 2025 has been the talk of the town for teaching aspirants from all over the state. Thousands of candidates waiting with bated breath, the recent announcement from the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has left many feeling excited and disappointed at the same time. While the recruitment is still on track, dreams of expanded vacancies have been crushed.

Vacancy Details and Exam Schedule

As per the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, the Rajasthan REET Mains 2025 will be filling a total of 7500 third-grade teacher posts under Level-1 and Level-2 categories. Board Chairman Alok Raj asserted that there will be no increase in the number of posts. The elaborate notification shall be published on the date of November 7, 2025. The REET Mains test will be conducted between January 17 and January 21, 2026, and results shall be announced on July 10, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

For posts of Level-1 teachers, applicants should have passed 12th with D.El.Ed and cleared REET Level-1. For Level-2, the candidates should be a graduate with B.Ed and have cleared REET Level-2. The age limit for both levels is 21 to 40 years. Sadly, this year’s recruitment does not include Special Education category candidates, and most of the hopefuls are left disappointed.

After the Rajasthan REET Mains 2025 official notification is announced, candidates are able to apply online via the official website rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates have to read the instructions carefully, enter their personal and educational information, upload the documents required, and remit the application fee before final submission.

Salary and Benefits

Shortlisted applicants under the Rajasthan REET Mains 2025 will be posted in the Pay Matrix Level-10 according to Rajasthan government regulations. The vacancies are distributed across departmental postings — 5000 under the Primary Education Department and more under the Sanskrit Education Department, teaching subjects such as Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Social Science.
