NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment 2025 has been started officially for those candidates who want to begin their career in a premier public sector organization. North Eastern Electric Power Corporation provides a good opportunity to graduates, diploma holders, and ITI candidates to get excellent training experience in the power industry. Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who appear for the NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment 2025 should meet certain educational qualifications depending on their trade or stream.

1. Graduate Apprentice:
A degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or institute.

2. Technician Apprentice:
A Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized central or state board or university.

3. Graduate in General Streams (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com):
A three-year minimum degree in any subject except engineering or technology.

4. Trade Apprentice:
Candidates should have passed Class 10th or Class 8th with an ITI degree in a relevant trade like Electrician, Plumber, or Lineman.

The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum limit is 28 years. Relaxation in age will be applicable as per government guidelines.

Application Process

  • Get yourself registered on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal at [nats.education.gov.in].
  • Get a valid enrolment ID upon successful registration.
  • Look up “NEEPCO” on the NATS dashboard and submit your application for the respective apprenticeship position.
  • ITI Trade applicants should enroll under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) at [apprenticeshipindia.gov.in].
  • Double-check all information before final submission since no alterations can be made afterward.

Selection Process

Choice will be solely on the merit of marks achieved in the qualifying degree, diploma, or ITI examination. Preference will be provided to candidates belonging to states where NEEPCO power plants are situated. The list of selected candidates will be placed on the website, and call letters will be transmitted through registered email.

Stipend and Training Benefits

Shortlisted candidates shall be paid a monthly stipend between ₹14,877 and ₹18,000 based on the type of apprenticeship. The scheme offers hands-on experience in power generation, maintenance, and operation, enabling candidates to acquire a solid technical base for their future career.
