Vacancy Details
The Mumbai Port Authority is offering a total of 116 apprenticeship positions for different trades. Out of these, 11 vacancies are for Graduate Apprentices and 105 are for Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trainees. Selected candidates will undergo training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, ensuring structured learning and practical exposure.
Eligibility Criteria

For the Graduate Apprentice post, applicants should hold a degree in any stream such as BE, B.Com, BA, B.Sc, or BCA from a recognized university or institution. For COPA, candidates must have passed the 10th class under the 10+2 education system and possess a COPA Trade Certificate from the National Council of Vocational Training.
Age Limit
Applicants must be at least 14 years old to apply. There is no upper age limit for apprenticeship training. However, candidates between 14 and 18 years are considered minors and must have their apprenticeship contract signed by their legal guardian.
Salary and Stipend
The monthly stipend for apprentices will be paid according to the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. This ensures that every selected trainee receives fair compensation during the training period while gaining practical knowledge and work experience.

The cost of the application form is ₹100, which must be paid through NEFT mode only. No other payment methods will be accepted. Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from the application fee. Completed forms must be submitted by 10th November 2025, up to 5:00 PM.
