Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 : There is great news for the youth who are dreaming of working in the Indian Coast Guard, which protects the maritime borders of the country. The Indian Coast Guard has issued a notification for recruitment to more than 600 posts. This recruitment has been taken out for the posts of Sailor (General Duty, Domestic Branch) and Mechanical (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics). The application process has started online and interested candidates can apply till 25 June 2025.
How many posts will be recruited
This time a total of 630 posts are being recruited in the Indian Coast Guard. These include both Sailor and Mechanical posts. The recruitment process will be conducted through the official website and the candidates will have to apply by following all the instructions.
What should be the qualification
The educational qualification has been fixed differently for each post. If you want to apply for Sailor (General Duty), then you must have a 12th pass degree with Mathematics and Physics subjects. For Domestic Branch, it is necessary to be only 10th pass. At the same time, for mechanical posts, the applicant should have 10th or 12th with a 2 to 4 year diploma related to engineering, which includes mechanical, electrical, electronics or telecommunication (radio/power) branches.
Age limit and relaxation
Candidates who want to apply for these posts should be between 18 to 21 years of age. However, candidates of reserved category will also get age relaxation. SC and ST category will be given 5 years relaxation, while there is a provision of 3 years relaxation for OBC category.
Salary
Candidates selected in the recruitment will be given attractive pay scale. Sailor (General Duty and Domestic Branch) will get a salary of ₹ 21,700 every month. At the same time, the youth selected for the mechanical post will be provided a salary of ₹ 29,200 per month.

After visiting the website, click on the online application link for “CGEPT 01/2026 & 02/2026 Batch”. After this create a new account and login. Fill all the information asked in the application form carefully and also upload the required documents. After paying the examination fee, submit the form and take a printout of it for future.
