Himachal Job Alert: Himachal government has opened the box of jobs in government departments for the unemployed. In the cabinet meeting held in the summit hall of the state secretariat in Shimla on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, it was decided to fill 147 posts of various categories.

The meeting lasted from 2 pm to 7 pm. The new excise policy was discussed in the meeting, but no decision could be taken. According to sources, it has been asked to bring a proposal on the excise policy again in the cabinet meeting to be held during the budget session.

The proposals for college adjustment, teacher rationalization, reorganization of the Directorate of Education and increase in minimum bus fare could not be discussed. The cabinet approved the draft of the Governor’s address for the budget session of the state assembly on March 10. All the ministers discussed the proposal of the Governor’s address for 3.15 hours.

Two posts of senior resident doctors will be created and filled for the gastroenterology department at Atal Super Specialty Medical Institute, Chamiyana, Shimla. Giving information about the decisions taken in the meeting, Revenue Minister Jagat Kumar Singh Negi said that Himachal is not even getting grants from the Centre. The MPs of the state make statements but do not raise the voice of Himachal in the Parliament.
