Weather Update:- Monsoon rains are continuing across the country. Heavy rains are being witnessed in most states of the country. People are facing numerous problems due to the continuous heavy rains in some states. Rain is wreaking havoc in many states, from Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, to Mumbai. At the same time, intermittent rains are also continuing in the Delhi-NCR region.
According to IMD, rain is being witnessed in North India, as well as in Central and Eastern states. People are getting relief from the heat due to rain. At the same time, there is a possibility of waterlogging and flood-like conditions at many places. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain, thunder and lightning in some states for the next seven days.
Heavy rain warning in these states
According to the latest forecast by the IMD, there is an alert for heavy rain in various places across several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, until July 21. At the same time, an alert has been issued due to heavy rains in Rajasthan until July 17. A warning has been issued for thunderstorms and light to moderate rain in the western Himalayan region and plains for the next 7 days.
Delhi Weather Forecast
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms in the capital, Delhi, and surrounding areas on July 16. People have got relief from the heat due to rain in Delhi-NCR in the past few days.

Monsoon activities have intensified in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in more than 20 districts on July 16. There is a warning of heavy rain in eastern UP in the next 48 hours
Warning of heavy rain in Bihar
A red alert has been issued for torrential rains in several districts, including Kaimur, Bhojpur, Buxar, Aurangabad, Rohtas, and Arwal. Light to moderate rain can be seen in districts like Patna, Nalanda, Jamui, Saran, Gopalganj etc.
