During this period, an alert has been issued regarding the likelihood of strong gusts blowing at speeds of 50 to 55 kilometres per hour. Farmers are advised to exercise particular caution. During this period, there is a likelihood of strong winds, dust storms, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, and hailstorms in some districts within these states.
Uttarakhand Weather Today
The weather in Uttarakhand is expected to remain dry for the next two days; however, a change in conditions may be observed in the hilly regions starting Thursday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Bageshwar starting April 16.

Tomorrow, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will hover around 23 degrees Celsius.

In Uttar Pradesh, several districts may now begin to experience the full intensity of the summer heat. This means that most districts in Uttar Pradesh are now set to experience intense heat. According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat conditions are expected in several districts of UP—including Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Saharanpur, Shamli, Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Jaunpur. Consequently, people have been advised to remain vigilant.

According to the IMD, severe heat conditions are expected across several states in Northwest India—including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan—between April 14 and April 18. Maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. In Madhya Pradesh, temperatures could rise by 3 to 5 degrees by April 15.
