Weather Forecast: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu for the next seven days. Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka may also experience heavy rains for the next 2-3 days. However, the monsoon has already departed from some states. Rainfall expected between October 16 and 22
According to the IMD, intermittent rain is possible in the districts of Pune, Satara, Ahmednagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Beed, and Sindhudurg between October 16 and 22. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these areas.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, rain is expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana until October 18th. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also possible, along with the rain. According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather is expected in Konkan, Goa, and Central Maharashtra between October 16th and 17th.

No Rain in These States:

States in northwest India will remain dry. Rain is not currently forecast for Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Delhi will experience clear skies and mild temperatures, perfect for celebrating Diwali.

Western India Storm Possibility
According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and lightning are likely in Central Maharashtra from October 15 to 17 and in Marathwada from October 16. The Meteorological Department has also predicted similar weather conditions in the Konkan and Goa region from October 15 to 17.
