New Delhi: The tension between India and Pakistan is almost over, as a ceasefire has been agreed upon. The fight over ammunition may have ended, but the diplomatic battle will continue for a long time. US President Donald Trump, while welcoming the ceasefire between the two countries, has also offered to mediate on the thousands of years-old issue of Kashmir.
While Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif was seen welcoming this offer, India completely rejected it. If sources in the Ministry of External Affairs are to be believed, India has rejected the offer of mediation in Kashmir and has also talked about talking on Pok. Kashmir has now become a part of India, on which Pakistan indirectly conspires to consider it as its right.
Offer of mediation on Kashmir rejected
America had talked about mediation with India and Pakistan on Kashmir. India has completely rejected this offer from America. India clearly said that our stand on the issue of Kashmir is unequivocal; we will not accept the interference of any third party at all. India said in clear words that only the problem of returning Pakistan-occupied Kashmir can be discussed.
Apart from this, there will be no scope or mediation on our part for any other issue. Earlier, Donald Trump was eager to work with both countries to find a solution to the Kashmir issue. He described it as an issue that has been going on for a thousand years. Trump’s comment came after the ceasefire statement.
A consensus was reached on a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
An agreement has been reached on a truce between India and Pakistan. However, on Saturday, the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire after three hours and started firing heavily and plotted a drone attack. The Indian military foiled all its attempts, which has given a big blow to the Pakistani Rangers. According to the Indian army, every activity of Pakistan is being monitored because there is no trust in it.
