UP Rain Alert: Monsoon rains have made life difficult for people in Uttar Pradesh these days. From Prayagraj to Saharanpur, monsoon rains have halted the speed of life. Rain has caused waterlogging in villages, towns and cities. Due to waterlogging, pedestrians are facing problems. Not only this, but the water level of rivers, drains, and ponds has also increased significantly.

In many places, rain has become a disaster instead of relief. Clouds of crisis have also loomed over the crops of farmers. Vegetable crops are on the verge of destruction. Not only this, but sugarcane crops standing on the banks of the Ramganga River are also in danger. The rain in UP may continue throughout the day today. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in 28 districts on Wednesday. You can know the district-wise weather conditions below.

Red alert issued here.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in view of heavy rains in some districts. According to IMD, a red alert has been issued in Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly and Pilibhit. Apart from these, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Shahjahanpur and surrounding areas.

Orange alert issued in these districts

If IMD is to be believed, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi and Farrukhabad. Apart from these, heavy rain may occur in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Amroha and Sambhal. Torrential rain in Badaun and surrounding areas can become a disaster for the people. IMD has issued an orange alert for here.

Yellow alert issued for here

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Kannauj and Barabanki. Apart from these, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Baghpat, Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, and  Aligarh. A warning has been issued for thunder/lightning in these areas.
