According to the IMD, heavy rains with thunder and lightning have been predicted in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. There is also a possibility of wind blowing at speeds of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour in UP.
Heavy rain is expected in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, and Pandrayagraj, where gusty winds are also possible. On June 19, a warning of heavy rain was issued in 22 districts of U, where an orange alert has also been issued.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli and Varanasi. Apart from these, an alert of torrential rain has been issued in Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Ballia, Deoria, Azamgarh and Mau. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj and Kushinagar.
Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, and Ambedkar Nagar, along with their surrounding areas, are also included. A heavy rain alert has been issued for Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Amroha, Badaun, nd Bijnor.
