Challenges Facing Tariq Rahman
Tariq Rahman, sworn in as Bangladesh’s new Prime Minister, will face many significant challenges. He will have to work to address the unrest and divisions between people that have been engulfing Bangladesh in the name of religious violence for the past few months.
The challenge will be to fight the decline in employment, health, and growth rates and move forward. Maintaining stability among various sections of society while remaining vigilant against the opposition’s conspiracies will be a significant challenge.
