The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with thunder and lightning in many areas of Rajasthan. Heavy rain warning has been issued in many parts of Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Jodhpur divisions. Heavy to very heavy rains can be seen in the next 3-4 days. IMD has issued a warning of heavy rains in some districts of the Udaipur division.
Apart from these, light to heavy rains with thundershowers are also expected in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, and Bikaner divisions in the next 3-4 days. Moderate rains can also occur at many places.
Red alert issued in these districts
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a red alert has been issued due to the possibility of heavy rains in Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh and Salumber on Saturday. Heavy rains can occur in Udaipur, Ajmer, Baran, Beawar, Bhilwara and Bundi. Heavy rains can be seen in Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Kota, Rajsamand and Sirohi. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Balotra, Barmer and Jalore.
