Pappu Yadav also joined the voter rights tour of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday. Late last evening, he reached Purnia via Kadwa and Kamhari of Katihar. Rahul Gandhi spent the night in the Gaura Panchayat of East Block. His journey is going to start from Gaura Panchayat at 8 am on Sunday.

Tejashwi Yadav, Mukesh Sahni, CPI-ML leader Dipankar Bhattacharya, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Purnia MP Pappu Yadav will also be involved in the Voter Rights Yatra. The journey will cover a distance of 25 km in Purnia. Tight security arrangements have been made. During this, Pappu Yadav said that Rahul Gandhi is the only hope of the country.
