PM Narendra Modi sent a special message to all astronauts, including Shubhanshu Shukla, as soon as Axiom Mission-4 was launched. PM Modi said in a post that we welcome the successful launch of the space mission carrying astronauts from India, Hungary, Poland, and the United States.
Indian astronaut, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, is on his way to become the first Indian to visit the International Space Station. Indian Air Force Group Captain and astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has departed for the International Space Station as part of the Axiom-4 mission. The work of launching the Axiom-4 mission has been done from Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. Shubhanshu Shukla has left for space with three other astronauts. The astronauts have embarked on a journey to the space station as part of a mission with Axiom Space.
