Monsoon Update: The country’s weather is changing. Sometimes, intense or occasionally humid heat can be troubling to people. While the monsoon has retreated from many states, others are still experiencing the wrath of rain. However, in many places, the monsoon is about to depart soon. The Meteorological Department has indicated a cold front before Diwali. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be between 33 °C and 35°C on September 23. Meanwhile, the rain continues to wreak havoc in the hilly areas. So, let’s find out which states in the country have issued a rain alert:

Rain Warning in Jharkhand

An alert has been issued for heavy rain in several districts of Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain has brought pleasant weather since Tuesday morning. A ‘yellow alert’ for heavy rain has been issued for four districts, alternating between light to moderate rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Saraikela-Kharsawan. Heavy rain is expected in these districts, and residents have been advised to remain vigilant. Additionally, a rain alert has been issued in seven districts, including Ranchi, Khunti, and Gumla, until the morning of September 24.

Rain Warning in Rajasthan
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected in various parts of Udaipur, Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Ajmer divisions from September 23 to 27th. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for thunderstorms in these areas, with heavy rain expected in some locations.

Yellow Alert Issued for These Districts
The Meteorological Department estimates that rain alerts have been issued in the following districts: Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Salumber, and Udaipur.

Which states has the monsoon withdrawn from?
The Meteorological Department estimates that the monsoon has withdrawn from Punjab, Gujarat, and western Rajasthan. Rainfall is currently not expected in Delhi. However, Madhya Pradesh is experiencing rainfall due to the retreating monsoon, which is expected to continue for the next 10 days. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to begin withdrawing from Madhya Pradesh after September 30.

Rain Warning in These States
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Central Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, and many parts of Gujarat. Furthermore, Rainfall is expected in Central Maharashtra for the next seven days, with Konkan and Goa receiving rainfall from September 23rd and 25th to 28th. Rainfall is also likely in Marathwada on September 23rd, 26th, and 27th. Rainfall is expected in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the northern interior of Karnataka from September 23 to 28. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Mahe on September 23, 26 and 27.
