Weather Heavy Rain Alert: Rain is continuing in many states of India at this time. On the other hand, some states are experiencing severe heat. The heat has started showing its effect in Delhi. Due to the strong sunlight during the day, people have reduced the number of people leaving their houses. The Meteorological Department estimates that heavy rains can be seen in many places in the country during the next five days. Also, rain with thunder and lightning can be seen in South Peninsular India and adjoining Central India.

Rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, rain can be seen along with strong winds in many states, including Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh, during the next 5 days.

The Meteorological Department says there is a possibility of rain with strong winds in many areas in Northeast India during the next 5 days. Rain can be seen at different places in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu during the next 3 to 4 days. Heavy rains can be seen along with thunderstorms in Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur at different places in Arunachal Pradesh until May 18. Apart from this, a warning of rain and strong winds has been issued in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

According to IMD, weather changes can be seen in East and Central India for 5 days. Thunderstorms and rain can be seen in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha. Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms at a speed of 30-50 kilometres per hour in Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim.
