There is a possibility of thunderstorms in Delhi on June 20. On the other hand, due to heavy rains in Gujarat and Maharashtra, flood-like conditions have been created in many areas. The Meteorological Department estimates that between June 20 and June 25, heavy rains may occur in many states of the country, including Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected in West Bengal and Sikkim between June 22 and 24. Regarding the weather in Bihar, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms from 20 to 23 June. Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Jharkhand and Odisha between June 20 and 22. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Chhattisgarh on June 20.

Heavy rain warning in 7 states today

According to the Meteorological Department, on June 20, there is expected to be very heavy rain in Gujarat, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Apart from this, there may be heavy rain in eastern Madhya Pradesh on Yoga Day, i.e. June 21. During this time, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour.

Rain warning in these states for the next 5 days

The Meteorological Department predicts that from June 20 to 25, heavy rainfall is expected at various locations in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and eastern Rajasthan. Apart from this, heavy rains are expected to occur in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on 22 and 25 June. Heavy rains may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab during 21-25 June, and Haryana, Chandigarh during 20-25 June.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that rain will continue in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, and Marathwada from June 20 to 25. Apart from this, thunderstorms, lightning, and heavy rains can be expected at various places in Northeast India over the next 7 days.
