Mock Drill Update:- The Government of India has announced a civil defence mock drill across the country on 7 May 2025. The Home Ministry has directed the organisation of a mock civil defence drill for tomorrow, i.e., on 7 May. War sirens will sound in all the states tomorrow. Amidst the ever-increasing tension between India and Pakistan, the central government has decided to conduct mock drills.
Tomorrow, i.e. on May 7, civil defence mock drills will be organised in 244 country districts. Mock drills will be held in five districts of Madhya Pradesh: Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Katni, and Indore. Mock drills will be conducted in Kota, Rawatbhata (Chittorgarh), Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Bundi, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Sikar, Nal (Bikaner), Suratgarh (Sriganganagar), Abu Road (Sirohi), Nasirabad (Ajmer), Bhiwadi, Phulera (Jaipur), Nagaur, Jalore, Beawar, Lalgarh (Sriganganagar), Sawai Madhopur, Pali and Bhilwara in Rajasthan.
