UP Monsoon Alert: Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain alert in 47 districts

Uttar Pradesh Monsoon Update: Monsoon clouds have camped in most areas of Uttar Pradesh, due to which heavy rain is being seen in many places. Clouds have been looming over western Uttar Pradesh since late evening. It is also raining in many areas, due to which people have got relief from the heat due to the drop in temperature. Drizzle has been recorded at many places in eastern UP, due to which the temperature level has dropped.

Most parts of Bareilly, Badaun and Shahjahanpur are cloudy. The weather is expected to deteriorate significantly in UP’s capital Lucknow and surrounding areas. An alert has been issued for heavy rain with lightning and thunder in 47 districts of Uttar Pradesh. You can know in detail below what the weather is going to be like where.

Rain with lightning in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Saharanpur and Shamli. Apart from this, heavy rain warning has been issued in Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut and Bijnor. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit and Mahoba. Rain is expected in Jhansi, Lalitpur and adjoining areas.

Heavy rain alerts in these areas

If IMD is to be believed, there may be rain with thunder in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj and Fatehpur. Here thunder and lightning can become a problem for people. Heavy rain alerts have been issued in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi and Bahraich.

Heavy rain is expected in Lakhimpur Kheri, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar and Saharanpur. Heavy rains have also been issued in Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Hapur. Heavy rain alerts have been issued in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras and Kasganj.

Heavy rain may occur in Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah and Auraiya. Heavy rain may occur in Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly and Pilibhit. Heavy rain warnings have been issued in Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Jhansi.
