Who is accused of the terrorist attack?
An investigation has been launched into the perpetrators of the terrorist attack on a police checkpoint in Pakistan. Initial investigations have revealed the involvement of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). However, the organisation has not yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, according to the Pakistani Inter-Services Public Relations (ISP), Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is being implicated in the attack on a joint checkpoint of security forces and law enforcement agencies in Bajaur district on February 16th. Pakistan Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has reported that the attackers plotted a cowardly terrorist attack.

Mourning at the scene, 11 killed
A car packed with explosives rammed into the wall of a police checkpoint, followed by a massive explosion. A smouldering fire engulfed the ai,r and smoke filled the air. Eleven policemen were severely burned on the ground. The blast also caused a house at the checkpoint to collapse. Fortunately, no one was trapped.
Pakistan also claimed to have killed 12 terrorists in retaliatory action. A statement stated that the 12 terrorists were killed after security forces responded and launched a precise attack on the fleeing attacker.
In their desperation, the attackers rammed a vehicle packed with explosives into a wall. The impact of the blast caused a house at the checkpoint to collapse, killing 11 policemen.
