New Delhi: The world-famous Khatushyam Temple is talked about worldwide because of the large number of devotees who visit it daily. Devotees are eager to have darshan of Khatushyam. If you are planning to visit Khatushyam, please hold off. You might end up wasting your time and having to return empty-handed.

The temple administration has decided to keep the temple doors closed for approximately 19 hours. This decision was made due to the worship and decorations for Baba Shyam’s birth anniversary. Devuthani Ekadashi is Baba Shyam’s birthday. A special decoration will be performed before this date. Consequently, the Shri Shyam Temple Committee has decided to keep the temple closed.

Temple Committee Chairman Reveals Important Information

Prithvi Singh Chauhan, head of the Khatushyam Temple Committee, has revealed important information. He explained that special prayers are offered to Baba Shyam before Baba Shyam’s birth anniversary. He said that after bathing Baba Shyam on the new moon day during Diwali, he appears in his original form for a few days to give darshan to devotees.

Then, before the birth anniversary, Baba is adorned with a Tilak Shringar. Due to this Tilak Shringar, the temple will be closed to devotees for about 10 hours this time as well. Shyam Temple Committee President Prithvi Singh Chauhan stated that Baba Shyam’s Tilak Shringar will also be performed on October 27th.

Temple to remain closed on October 26th

For information, the temple will be closed to general devotees at 10 pm on October 26th. Then, after the evening aarti at 5 pm on October 27th, the temple doors will be opened to general devotees. Consequently, the temple doors will remain closed to devotees for about 19 hours.

During this period, only the temple priests and servants will perform special pujas. The temple administration has appealed to all devotees not to come to the temple during the closed period and to arrive for darshan only after the designated time.
