New Delhi: The situation in Iran is steadily worsening. The movement against the Khamenei government has now turned into a mass movement. People are taking to the streets in numerous cities and towns across the country, chanting anti-government slogans. They are refusing to back down, accusing the government of corruption and rising inflation.
The Iranian army has used water cannons and batons in several places to disperse the protesters. Meanwhile, the United States has also taken a stance against the Khamenei government, with President Donald Trump expressing support for the protesters. He issued a stern warning to Iran on Saturday.
