According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a rain warning has been issued for many districts on June 13. The IMD has predicted heavy rains accompanied by thunder and lightning in West Champaran, East Champaran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, and Madhubani. An alert has also been issued for thunderstorms in this area.

Apart from these, a warning of thunderstorms has been issued for Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Kaimur, Rohtas and Buxar. There is a possibility of strong winds and lightning in this area.

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of humid heat has been issued in Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga. Apart from these, an alert of severe heat has been issued in most districts of Vaishali, Samastipur, and South Bihar. People have been asked to be cautious to protect themselves from the heat.
