The IMD has issued an alert of heavy rains with thunderstorms in two districts of the state, Jaisalmer and Barmer, on September 9. Here, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. According to IMD, there is a possibility of a gradual weakening of the monsoon from September 10.
